Silence Speaks Volumes

The Supreme Court regularly declines to hear cases.  These choices send very powerful messages about what they think is less important.   You can't say some things are more important without saying others are less important.

Choose what not to say

Everything is a choice; and everything communicates your choice's.  Often its the lack of words and actions that communicate loudest.  Someone once told me that you define your values by what you're willing to walk by.  Make sure you understand the choices you are making and the consequences of those choices when you choose:

  • what meetings not to attend
  • whom not to invite to meetings
  • when not to comment
