Re-look at overall messaging on an annual basis as part of your normal succession planning and talent management processes.
Get everyone aligned around the overall messaging that they will cascade down in their own Total Onboarding Programs. This annual messaging review will: 1) Increase consistency across individual messages 2) Give everyone a chance for deliberate practice to build knowledge and skills in crafting and critiquing messaging.
The best messages serve as organizing principles vs straight jackets. They capture the best of who we are, what we're trying to do it, how we choose to approach it, and where we're going to focus first.
