Set aside one day each month for interviews
All appropriate managers should keep these days open whenever possible. A fixed, monthly interview day makes it easier to schedule candidates for interviews and gives managers an opportunity for regular, deliberate interview practice. The regularly occurring interview day also signals the importance of your Total Onboarding Program to the organization and potential employees.
Everything communicates. Hard to say people are your most important asset and then not be willing to set aside 5% of your month as investment in your future people.
